This is how badly Target wants your business this Black Friday

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — Target really wants your business this holiday season.

So much so that it’s offering free money — in the form of discounted gift cards [Scroll down to see the local Black Friday Target ad]

Target will offer 10% off of its gift cards on Black Friday. Store-brand gift cards help bring shoppers back, and often encourage them to spend more than they would otherwise.

Target also unveiled a host of holiday season deals geared to get people into its physical stores. Some discounts, including $50 off of Beats headphones and $10 off an Apple TV, only apply if customers order online and pick up their items at a store.

And the store’s mobile app will offer 50% off a different toy each day throughout the holiday season.

Accused terrorist pleads ‘not guilty’ in Richmond courtroom

RICHMOND, Va. — An accused terrorist appeared in a federal courtroom in downtown Richmond Friday to face charges tied to a November 2009 attack in the Khost Province of Afghanistan. While an interpreter translated most of the court proceedings for Irek Ilgiz Hamidullin, the accused answered “not guilty” in English when the judge asked for his plea.

During Friday’s hearing, a trial date was set for April 13, 2015. The trial was expected to late three to five days.

Last month Hamidullin, 55, was indicted on charges that include conspiring to provide and providing material support to terrorists; conspiring and attempting to destroy an aircraft of the armed forces of the United States; and conspiring and attempting to murder a national of the United States.

Hamidullin, who was shackled during Friday’s hearing, faces four life sentences if convicted of the crimes.
